About Us
Autism Research & Treatment is the product of two passionate
students at Scripps College, Sara Gershfeld and Rachel Travolta,
who have been trained
in the treatment of Autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
at the Claremont
Autism Center. With the help of Dr. Marjorie Charlop-Christy,
a Professor of Psychology at Claremont McKenna College and specialist
in Autism, they have formed A.R.T. with the goal of raising
funds to promote the research and treatment of children with
Autism.
A.R.T. is managed by a team of passionate behavioral therapists,
researchers, physicians, and other professionals interested
in helping people with Autism live a fulfilling and happy life.
Our Mission:
Autism Research & Treatment, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit

the field of autism and meeting the financial needs of students
already involved in autism research projects.
Our mission is to address the needs of children with autism
with an emphasis on empirically validated research. Finally,
it is our goal to increase awareness of available treatment
opportunities by making the findings of sponsored projects easily
